Smart Growth San Antonio (SGSA) is an organization that has been formed by individuals who questioned in spring 2002 the appropriateness of public subsidy of a PGA Village golf complex over the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone (EARZ). Its main purposes are to monitor governmental policies in the San Antonio metropolitan area (especially the EARZ) that affect growth patterns and quality of live issues and to use the information gathered to formulate advocacy strategies that promote Smart Growth principles for all the neighborhoods and communities in the area.
We Need Your Help
One person cannot sway opinion. One person's voice cannot be heard above the roar of many others. But let that one person become the voice of hundreds, and then he will be heard. Let that voice become the voice of thousands and then he will sway opinion.
We need your help to sway that opinion. Get involved. Volunteer your time to help us safeguard our environment. We need to sway the opinion of our elected leaders and officials to provide us with clean air and water and to halt further development over the Edwards Aquifer .
